Indi-Struct desks have been designed for challenging behaviour in autism, learning difficulties and other severe healthcare conditions, conforming to strength and stability standards (BS4875 2006, Parts 7 & 8, Level 5) for severe contract environments.
There are two extremely robust Indi-Struct bedside desk models for challenging behaviour to choose from. Both have soft. rounded edges and corners on the 25mm cabinet tops. The drawers on the 3-drawer version are the strongest available. They have 18mm thick bottoms and heavy duty steel roller runners rated to 100kg. The drawers cannot be removed without security tools. Shelves are fixed and security screws are used throughout. The 18mm solid backs are recessed to allow cut-outs over the skirting board for fixing flush to the wall.
