Care Home Furniture: Delivery Information

Delivery Areas

Please refer to the 'Delivery' tab on each product page to view the delivery coverage and the delivery charge, if any, FOR EACH PRODUCT.

The delivery areas for some products can differ, as we despatch from various locations in the UK using different distribution services. Every product is available for free delivery to an extensive area of the UK mainland. The eligible delivery postcodes for each product are listed in the 'Delivery' tab on each product page.

Delivery Charges

FREE DELIVERY (Full Delivery Service): There is no delivery charge for orders to any of the eligible postcode districts and areas that are listed in the 'Delivery' tab on each product page. These delivery areas are serviced on a regular basis. Please check the 'Delivery' tab on the item's product page for full details.

£50 DELIVERY CHARGE (Full Delivery Service): A £50 charge is applied to orders under the value of £1000 excl. Vat, for deliveries to the less accessible postcode districts and areas that are listed in the 'Delivery' tab on each product page. Please note this charge only applies to chair, sofa and table products; and that orders of a value of £1000 excl. Vat or more are delivered free of any charge. Please check the 'Delivery' tab on the item's product page for full details.

A 'Limited Delivery Service' will mean that we only deliver to particular postcode areas on an ad hoc basis; or that we can only make a  delivery via a national pallet transport service. A 'limited delivery service' delivery may incur a charge. Please contact us if you wish to arrange a delivery to a limited service postcode area.

You will not be able to complete your purchase online if your order contains an item that is for delivery to a limited delivery service postcode area. Please call us on 0800 772 0936  and we will assist you.

Delivery Service

Most products are large and heavy, and require careful handling. All deliveries are made using the factory's own transport with suitable vehicles and experienced furniture distribution staff. The only exception to this is the occasional use of a pallet delivery service. A pallet delivery service is only used to support the regular furniture van delivery service in exceptionally busy periods, or to provide extra coverage to areas outside our normal delivery catchment area.

Cabinet (Bedroom, Living and Challenging Behaviour) products and Upholstery (Lounge and Dining) products are dispatched from different warehouses. Orders with with items from both product groups may be delivered on different dates. Orders are not automatically completed on one delivery. We will contact you when your order, or each part thereof, is ready for dispatch, to advise a delivery date. 

Deliveries are made by a one-man furniture van delivery service. Deliveries will arrive between 8am-5pm Monday to Friday (unless otherwise arranged with our office), and are made to 'inside front/main door' based on wheelchair access to the premises. For access, handling and other logistical reasons we are are unable to deliver products to private residential addresses.

Delivery of the Goods shall be made to the Customer's designated shipping address. The Customer shall make all the necessary arrangements to take delivery of the Goods whenever they are tendered for delivery. Failed deliveries may incur extra re-delivery charges. 

We shall not be liable for any losses as a result of a delay in delivery of the goods.
