Inwood Furniture Ltd The following terms and conditions apply to all (online & offline) transactions. The placing of an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. Advice and Suitability of Products If you buy goods which have no published technical specifications, it is your responsibility to establish the suitability of the goods for your intended purpose. Typographical Errors/Accuracy Of Content ‘Care Home Furniture’ has taken every care in preparation of the content of this website, in particular to ensure that prices quoted are correct at time of publishing and all products have been fairly described. Should an error on price occur, and an order is placed, you will be informed and given the option of continuing the order at the correct price, or cancelling the order. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods you will receive a full refund. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order based on incorrect prices whether or not the order has been confirmed. All images, dimensions, specifications are displayed as clearly as possible on the website. We have also made every effort to display our product/fabric colours and finishes as accurately as possible. Dimensions are mostly shown in, and rounded up to the nearest centimetre. 'Care Home Furniture' will not be liable for any inaccuracies or errors on the website Ordering/Payment You can place an order with us following our online shopping and checkout system. Payment options are by online BACS or cheque, or by Purchase Order from government bodies and other approved organisations. Once you have placed an order you will receive a confirmation email that states the exact goods ordered, with an order reference number. A full VAT receipt will be emailed to you as soon as payment has been received. Payment is by the following methods: BACS Payment. Order is processed once payment is received. All prices exclude VAT (where applicable) at the applicable current rate. The property of the goods remains with ‘Care Home Furniture’ until full payment has been received. Availability of Goods Nearly all our products are 'bulk' items which are despatched from at least four different warehouses. Each warehouse has it's own distribution arrangement with carriers who are have the experience in delivering that particular type of furniture product. Many items are large and heavy and require very careful handling. As such we cannot we cannot offer a common delivery service for all our products. Delivery areas and delivery charges vary according to the product(s) you have ordered. Please go to DELIVERY INFORMATION for full details. Please also refer to the DELIVERY tab which is found on every product webpage. This contains the following information that relates to that particular product: Product Group Code (PRODUCT GROUP A, B or C..) (identifies the warehouse or source of each product) Delivery Time (approximate delivery lead time from receipt of payment or purchase order) For access, handling and other logistical reasons we are are unable to deliver some products to private residential addresses. Information on which products are available for delivery to Private and Commercial Premises and which are only available for delivery to Commercial Properties only will also be found in the DELIVERY tab on every product's webpage We always aim to deliver in the time frame stated but we cannot guarantee this as delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors. ‘Care Home Furniture’ shall not be liable for any losses incurred by the buyer as a result of any delay in delivery of the goods. Delivery of the Goods shall be made to the Customer's address and the Customer shall make all arrangements necessary to take delivery of the Goods whenever they are tendered for delivery. Delivery will be either by postal/parcel service (for small items and some mattresses), or by furniture van delivery. A pallet delivery service may be used on occasions to supplement the regular furniture van delivery service at busier times of the year, or to provide extra coverage to areas outside our normal delivery catchment area. Furniture van deliveries will arrive between 9am-5pm Monday to Friday (unless otherwise arranged with our office), and are made to inside front/main door at pavement level only. We will contact you in advance (Furniture Van Deliveries) to advise when the delivery will be made. Failed deliveries may incur extra charges. Orders with several order line items may be delivered on multiple dates depending on the items ordered and which warehouse they are being dispatched from. Products are not automatically be sent together. Damage in Transit Shortages Faulty Goods Incorrect Goods Most items at ‘Care Hme Furniture’ are made-to-order products. If you wish to cancel or change an order, call us as soon as possible on 07788 234574, or email us with your change/cancellation request details. If the goods have not yet been manufactured we will change your order as per your request, or cancel your order and refund your full payment free of charge. If the made-to-order goods have already been manufactured we will charge 100% of the order price as these goods cannot be returned to the manufacturer. If 'Non Made-to-Order' or standard 'ex stock' products have not been dispatched we will change the order as requested or cancel it and refund your full payment free of charge. If your order has been dispatched we will charge a cancellation fee of 20% of the order price which will cover the cost of returning and re-stocking the order. Refunds will not be processed unless the goods are packaged in their original packaging and are in a saleable condition. Warranty Any faulty goods under warranty must be reported to us with a full description of the fault. We will also require pictures of the faulty item. If the fault is deemed to be a manufacturer fault and the item is under guarantee then we will replace the item free of charge. Goods subjected to excessive wear and tear, misuse, defective maintenance, alteration or modification, are excluded from the manufacturer’s warranty offered. Ownership Of Rights All rights, including copyright, in this website are owned by 'Care Home Furniture'. Any use of this website or it's contents, including copying or storing in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use is prohibited without the permission of ‘Care Home Furniture’. You may not modify, distribute or re-post anything on this website for any purpose. Liability Except as may be implied by law and except in the case of death or personal injury where the customer is dealing as a consumer, in the event of any breach of these Terms and Conditions by us the remedies to you shall be limited to damages which shall in no circumstances exceed the price of the Goods and we shall under no circumstances be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Force Majeure General The content of the pages of this website is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice. Unauthorised use may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence. From time to time this website may also include links to other websites.
